Sujeonggwa, cinnamon and ginger punch

Sujeonggwa is a sweet drink. Dessert is not a strong point of Korean cuisine. Koreans finish their meal often with dessert drink, such as Sujeonggwa. Sujeonggwa is made of cinnamon and ginger which help digestion and warm the body.



Sujeonggwa (Serves 12)

100g ginger, 50g cinnamon sticks, 4 liters of water

Seasonings: 1 cup sugar

Boil the water, put sliced ginger, boil 10 minutes and take the ginger out and put cinnamon sticks them boil another 10 minutes. Turn off the heat. Set aside 30 minutes, take the cinnamon sticks out. Cool the drink put in the refrigerator.
 
Serve cold.
